Williams A. Ambulance, the parent corporation of Stat Care EMS, began serving the needs of Southeast Texas in 1942. On July 1st, 2001 Williams Ambulance Inc. began operating as Stat Care EMS. At that time, the company had 3 ambulances and 10 employees. The new owners had a vision of achieving quality and excellence in the pre-hospital medical community by providing timely, appropriate, and courteous patient care. Today, Stat Care EMS operates a fleet of 35 MICU capable ambulances, 7 wheelchair vans, and has over 150 certified emergency medical professionals on staff. In 2003 and 2004, Stat Care EMS expanded its services of operation to include residence of Jasper and Orange Counties. In 2005 Operations expanded to Mid County. This area includes Port Arthur, Groves, Port Neches and Nederland. Since it's modest beginnings, Stat Care EMS has grown to be a leader in ambulance transportation needs. With over 65 years of ambulance operations, Stat Care EMS has the distinction of being the longest serving ambulance provider in Jefferson County.
